PSDI Senior Finance Sector Expert gives Pacific Talk on the role of government-owned banks and retirement funds
Dr Peter Dirou, PSDI’s Senior Finance Sector Expert, delivered a virtual Pacific Talk to ADB staff on February 3 on the role of government-owned banks and retirement funds in the Pacific. The presentation provided an overview of PSDI’s long-running work with these institutions and introduced the key policy issues and ideas from the first two papers in the new PSDI Pacific Finance Sector Policy Paper series: Government-Owned Banks: Their Role in Pacific Financial Systems and Pacific Retirement Funds: Anchoring Social Protection in Good Finance.
